Event Management
Aurora’s experience in event management stretches from sound to staging, stage management and beyond. Aurora brings its experience in acoustics, PA and lighting into consideration for all events.
Aurora understands all event management issues including client communications, production specifications, time frames, venues, floor plans and performers’ requirements.
Aurora Event Management has managed events on behalf of government, community, corporate, business groups and charities. Aurora has worked under the guidance of a variety of administrative structures and is familiar with the processes of collaborative development with committees, boards and other governing bodies.
The Golden Stave Annual Luncheon – Sydney, June
The Australian Music and Entertainment Industries supporting charity – this event is known as ‘the longest lunch of the year’ and is etched in the Music Industry’s calendar of events each year. Over 1000 guests ‘doing lunch’ and raising, over the past 26 years, more than $8 million via entertainment, auctions and raffles. Typically the Lunch will involve celebrities such as Rove McManus as MC with acts such as Grinspoon, Candice Alley and many others.
National Landcare Awards – Parliament House, Canberra
500 guests from across Australia attended this Awards Ceremony, hosted by Julie McCrossin with Prime Minister John Howard and other Ministers as presenters. Aurora Event Management organised all ticketing, front desk registration, accommodation, travel, theming, design, script editing, video production, entertainment, stage management and sponsor/ministerial liaison.
NRMA Drive Rollout
NRMA chose Aurora as Event Managers for its recent Rollout to operators across NSW. This involved the development of audio-visuals for presentation, database management, invitation and RSVP management, sound production, staging, venue management and provision of all accommodation and venue bookings for 19 locations throughout NSW, from Tweed Heads to Albury plus all areas in between.
Dubbo City CD Rom Launch – Sydney
Business CD Rom launched by the Hon. Bob Carr, Premier of NSW, with over 150 corporate and government representatives in attendance.
AMP Day In The Park/AGL Food Fair – Dubbo
12,000 visitors to the Festival in Victoria Park which comprised of over 50 market stalls, all day entertainment, restaurant stalls and children’s rides.
National & NSW Young Auctioneers Competition – Royal Easter Show, Sydney
Aurora, not only event manage the dinner the night before this Competition, but also carries out all Publicity and PR for this National Competition held, each year, on the first day of the Easter Show, Sydney. This event attracts over 2,000 people with Aurora organising all regional and metropolitan media plus sourcing entertainment, production, video production, liaising with the young auctioneers and sponsors and promoting the event to the widest possible audience. In four years, Aurora has taken a small event, to one that is the main attraction on the first day of the Royal Easter Show.
